description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector cap for use in constructing a cast-in-place reinforced concrete pile, easily attached to and detached from a vertical reinforcement head of a reinforcing cage, having strong fixing force in the mounted state, repeatedly usable many times without producing industrial waste, and further facilitating work in cutting off an extra fill part of a concrete upper part. SOLUTION: The protector cap 10 fitted to the vertical reinforcement head 56A of the reinforcing cage which is a constitutive body of a cast-in-place concrete foundation pile, to prevent concrete adhesion to the vertical reinforcement head, is formed in double cylinder structure of an inner tube 12 and an outer tube 14 which are elastic and capable of swelling inward and outward, and formed with a pressure chamber 42 between them. The inner tube 12 and outer tube 14 are deformed swelling inward and outward by leading air pressure into the pressure chamber 42, to fix the protector cap 10 to the vertical reinforcement head 56A and to enlarge the diameter of the protector cap 10.
