SOLUTION: The power supply apparatus for vehicles comprises a plastic box 3 formed by jointing a first box 3A and a second box 3B, and in the plastic box 3, an interlocking projection strip 11 of the second box 3B is inserted into an interlocking slot 10 of the first box 3A and a adhesive compound 13 is filled into the gap between the interlocking slot 10 and the interlocking projection strip 11, and further an interlocking part 12 is inserted into the gap between the interlocking slot 10 and the interlocking projection strip 11, wherein the interlocking part 12 has outer engaging projection 12A for engaging with the interlocking slot 10 and inner engaging projection 12B for engaging with the interlocking projection strip 11. In the plastic box 3, the interlocking projection strip 11 is joined with the interlocking slot 10 through the interlocking part 12 and the first box 3A and the second box 3B are coupled with each other by bonding the interlocking projection strip 11 to the interlocking slot 10, using the adhesive compound 13.
