POLE/BEAM CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF STEEL STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pole/beam connection structure applicable to a large span steel structure by arbitrarily increasing the strength of a connection part between a steel pole and a steel frame. SOLUTION: A beam formed of an H-steel is split T-welded to a pole 1 formed of an H-steel with connection metal fixtures of T-shape in cross section. The connection metal fixture 3 is formed of a T-flange 3a and a T-web 3b in a T-shape in cross section. The connection metal fixture 3 is installed projectedly from the side face of the pole 1 by bolting the T-flange 3a to the flange 1a of the pole 1 with a plurality of high tension bolts 4, and the beam 2 is joined to the connection metal fixture 3 by bolting the upper and lower flanges 2a and 2a thereof to each other with a plurality of high tension bolts 5. In particular, the plurality of high tension bolts 4 are disposed on the upper and lower sides of the T-web 3b in laterally two rows at prescribed intervals. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
