description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deformation of an electrode winding body caused by a charge and discharge cycle, and obtain a nonaqueous secondary battery having a center pin of which the strength is large without damaging the electrode winding body by an end face edge even when a large force is received from the outside. SOLUTION: In a battery case, the electrode winding body which is cylindrically wound around by pinching a belt-shaped separator by a belt-shaped positive electrode and a negative electrode, and the hollow cylindrical center pin 19 which is arranged in the center gap of the electrode winding body are housed. The center pin 19 is formed by bending one plate member in a longitudinal cylindrical shape. As for a plate member, both ends of right and left are formed with unevenness in a square wave-form over respective upper and lower width directions. Convex parts 21 of the respective ends have been fitted into the center pin, and both ends of the plate member are mutually engaged in concaves and convexes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
