CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize just enough torque correction of an internal combustion engine by grasping alternator load torque without directly detecting power generation current of an alternator. SOLUTION: This control device for the internal combustion engine has the alternator 2 driven by the internal combustion engine, a battery 6 capable of charging electric power generated by the alternator 2, and a battery voltage sensor 7 (battery electric current sensor 8) for detecting whether or not the battery 6 is discharging. When the battery 6 is discharging, the alternator load torque generated in the alternator 2 serves as torque at the time of maximum power generation by the alternator 2, and torque correction of the internal combustion engine is performed.
