SOLUTION: In the image forming method comprising a charging step 1, an exposing step 2, a developing step 3, a transferring step 4, a fixing step 5 and a cleaning step 6 of removing the toner remaining on a photoreceptor surface after the transferring step, with a cleaning blade, a photoreceptor has a sliding friction angle of 15-50°, the toner includes colored resin particles having a volume average particle diameter of 4-10 μm and an average circularity of 0.950-0.995, and an external additive, and the absolute value of a charge amount of the toner on a photoreceptor surface is 10-80 μC/g.
