TRACTION DEVICE FOR ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction device for rolling stock preventing leakage of water and structural corrosion. SOLUTION: Upper and lower elastic rings 23, 24 inserted from a vertical direction between respective tapered surfaces 21a, 21b vertically opposite to each other, receiving a center pin 22 on a vehicle body 3 side in a center cylinder 21 on a bogie 2 side, and gradually reduced in diameter from upper and lower ends of the center cylinder 21 toward a center part of an axial line direction, and a straight or tapered side peripheral surface 22a of the center pin 22 are press-fitted to be held between the center cylinder 21 and the center pin 22 by pinching with a downward stepped part 22b of the center pin 22 for receiving the upper elastic ring 23 from an upper part, and pressing metal fittings 26 fastened to a lower end of the center pin 22 with a screw 25, for receiving the lower elastic ring 24 from a lower part. A rigid object 42 having rigidity higher than that of the elastic rings 23, 24 are provided in space 41 formed between the upper and lower elastic rings 23, 24 to prevent positional deviation of the elastic rings 23, 24 and retain preloaded compression force thereof.
