COATING LIQUID, OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an optical recording medium, by which a recording layer having few deterioration with time can be formed and, in addition, which dissolves a board very little, and the coating liquid used therefor and the optical recording medium obtained thereby. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the optical recording medium has a process for coating a coating liquid including a solvent and a coloring matter dissolved in the solvent on a board under the condition that, as the solvent, one including a hydroxyl compound having a monovalent hydrocarbon group with a carbon-carbon triple bond, an alkoxy group or an acyl group is employed and, as the coloring matter, one including a specifically structured cyanine compound and a chelate compound consisting of an azo compound and a metal is employed.
