description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a foundation of a masonry structure, which has sufficient strength even against big earthquakes, and which can easily cope even with displacement of a vertical reinforcement. SOLUTION: In this construction method for the foundation of a block fence, a vertical hole 14 is excavated near a position, wherein the vertical reinforcement 21 is erected, on the foundation, and a steel pipe member 15 is driven into the vertical hole 14 up to a deep position exceeding the excavation depth of the vertical hole 14. When a position to drive the steel pipe member 15 is horizontally displaced from a predetermined erection position, horizontal displacement is adjusted in a state wherein at least a part of the vertical reinforcement 21 is held in the steel pipe member 15. After the adjustment of the displacement, a filler is injected into a space of the steel pipe member 15 in the state wherein the vertical reinforcement 21 is held in the steel pipe member 15.
