METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RELEASING YOUNG SHELLFISH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for releasing seedlings of artificially produced aquatic life to water, with which the travel speed of seedlings is increased, the seedlings are quickly released and the releasing apparatus is recovered from underwater to prevent marine contamination. SOLUTION: The method for releasing young shellfishes comprises a first means for providing the surface of a transparent plate material with a plurality of opening holes, forming a plate body having continuously formed ridges and valleys on the side view and previously attaching young shellfishes of abalone, turban shell, etc., to the plate body, a second means for arranging the plate body in a releasing basket constructed in the shape of a frame and a third means for conveying the releasing basket 1 to the sea, fixing it to the sea bottom in a predetermined fishing ground with attaching a mark such as a float, etc., to the releasing basket.
