Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for arranging fuel rods differed in length in a fuel assembly. SOLUTION: A reactor fuel assembly includes a channel 12 having an inner perimeter wall 24 and a channel longitudinal centerline 40. Both full-length fuel rods 18 and part-length fuel rods 19 are positioned within the channel 12. The part-length rods 19 are separated into two groups. A first group 44 has an intermediate-length fuel rods 20 located immediately adjacent to the inner perimeter wall 24.
