Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for positioning a projecting end of a cylinder, capable of being attached to various cylinder mechanisms and accurately adjusting positioning of the projecting end of the cylinder. SOLUTION: A cylinder device S used for a cylinder mechanism and a slide device 20 provided with a regulating plate 21 sliding in parallel with a rod S1 of the cylinder device S are fixed to a base 10. A rear part of the rod S1 is penetrated into the regulating plate 21, and the projecting end length of a tip of the rod S1 is adjusted by locking a stopper S2 provided in a rear end part of a rod P1 into the regulating plate 21 fixed in an arbitrary position.
