SOLUTION: When the plurality of patterns composed of coating liquids differing in pattern constitution color are transferred to the substrate 60 through coating rollers 2R, 2G, and 2B to form the composite pattern which has a combination part of patterns in the same pattern shape on the substrate 60, the plurality of coating rollers 2R, 2G, and 2B coated with the coating liquids are pressed against one letterpress in order and the coating liquids of negative patterns are transferred to and removed from the plurality of coating rollers 2R, 2G, and 2B by the one letterpress.
