The fixed walls 16-19 are connected to the light entry surface 11c by fitting the first projecting parts 21-24 and the second projecting parts 25-28. The respective point-like light sources are arranged in partitions 15a, 15b, 15c formed of spaces between the fixed walls 16-19. The camber and waviness of the light guide plate 11 are thereby straightened to improve the bonding efficiency of the point-like light sources and the light guide plate 11, and leakage light outgoing sideward and backward from the point-like light sources can be reflected and made incident to the light entry surface 11c.
