Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction system of road information which can make agreement between road geometry by road information stored in a road information storing means and the geometry of actual road. SOLUTION: A navigation system identifies a section where road geometry in the road information of a database is curved by DB correction range identifying processing S303, and acquires trace data gained when running on the actual road for the curved section by a trace-data-for-correction acquisition processing S305. Existence of similarity between the road geometry determined from the road information and the running track geometry determined from the trace data is judged in a similarity judging value calculation processing S307. When both geometries are judged not similar, the trace data is converted so that one end of the running trace geometry is smoothly connected with the one to be connected to the end point, at the end point of the adjacent road geometry to the running trace geometry by a trace data pasting processing S311.
