SOLUTION: In the present invention, a laser 6 is irradiated from a laser projecting part 2 to the aerosol 5, a camera 4 takes images of the light diffracted and scattered by the projected laser, and then the aerosol particle diameter and speed is measured from the particle locus of the images taken. The particle diameter and speed are calculated from the width of the particle locus, and the length of the particle locus and the exposure time, respectively.
