description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic radiator which is capable of radiating strong ultrasonic waves over a surrounding wide range and easily making uniform the distribution of an ultrasonic sound field, an ultrasonic radiation apparatus which uses the ultrasonic radiator to radiate ultrasonic waves, and further, an ultrasonic processing apparatus which uses the ultrasonic radiation apparatus in order to make the distribution of the ultrasonic sound field more uniform or process a much larger amount of fluid. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic processing apparatus 100 transmits the ultrasonic vibration of an ultrasonic vibrator 20 to an ultrasonic radiator 1 via an ultrasonic transmission body 302 and applies ultrasonic processing to a fluid P to be processed using the ultrasonic waves radiated from the ultrasonic radiator 1. The ultrasonic radiator 1 consists of a metal block, resonates primarily in the direction of an axial line AX and further resonates primarily in the radial direction in a disk-like large-diameter radiation section 2, thereby radiating ultrasonic waves at an oblique proximal end side and an oblique distal end side in addition to the radial direction and the direction of the axial line AX.
