Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for an underground tank capable of remarkably reducing a construction period and the underground tank. SOLUTION: An upper end reinforcement 8a and a lower end reinforcement 9a forming the bottom board outer peripheral part 3 of a bottom board 2 are disposed so that an end part is projected from a joint face to a bottom board inner peripheral part 4, and a water cut-off member 12 is disposed to be projected from the construction joint face of the bottom board outer peripheral part 3 to the bottom board inner peripheral part 4, and concrete is placed to construct the bottom board outer peripheral part 3. Then, the construction operation for the bottom board inner peripheral part 4 and a side wall 5 is performed concurrently. At the bottom board inner peripheral part 4, the upper end reinforcement 8b and the lower end reinforcement 9b are arranged so as to form a lap joint with the end parts of the upper end reinforcement 8a and the lower end reinforcement 9a projected from the bottom board outer peripheral part 3, and concrete is placed thereon. The side wall 5 is constructed by repeatedly arranging reinforcements and placing concrete stepwise from the bottom part 5a rigidly connected to the bottom board outer peripheral part 3 to the upper side.
