Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler tube assembly for a fuel tank, and to provide an assembling method. SOLUTION: A filler tube 12 for the fuel tank has a seal 32 for sealing a fuel resupply nozzle 36 when mounted inside. When the fuel resupply nozzle 36 cannot automatically be closed because the fuel tank is resupplied to a maximum resulting in the backup of fuel in the filler tube 12, a safety valve around the seal 32 is opened to allow the bypass of the fuel to flow from around the seal 32 to the upper end of the filler tube. An annular flexible seal 50 is mounted on a rigid ring member 46 provided on the annular valve so that it is normally energized to a closing position by a spring 48. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
