SOLUTION: The controller of the motor driven 4WD vehicle comprises a 42V alternator 2 being driven through an engine 1 to generate a three-phase AC power, a front step-up/down inverter 3 for rectifying the three-phase AC power generated from the 42V alternator 2 and supplying a DC power produced through rectification to the neutral of an AC motor M1, and a rear step-up/down inverter 13 for converting the DC power rectified by the front step-up/down inverter 3 into a three-phase AC power of desired voltage.
