Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wear of resin casing in a fuel pump. SOLUTION: The fuel pump 10 is provided with a roughly disk like impeller 20 and a casing 18 (pump cover 14, pump body 16) storing the impeller 20 therein. The impeller 20 rotates with sliding on the casing 18. The casing 18 has a resin made pump cover 14 and a resin made body 35, and at least a part of a surface sliding on the impeller 20 is locally fromed with a metal member 44. Since metal is not worn easily than resin, consequently, wear of the casing 18 can be suppressed by structure mentioned above.
