In the production method, H2controlling step for controlling the content of H2in a gas by reacting H2with an aromatic compound is performed, and then, production reaction of the organic compound is carried out, and in the H2control step, H2is made to react with the aromatic compound by feeding the liquid aromatic compound to a catalyst so that wetting and drying of the surface of the catalyst kept in heated state are repeated in the presence of H2to synthesize the hydrogenated aromatic compound.
