Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling a motor-driven 4 WD vehicle which can simplify an apparatus constitution. SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling the motor-driven 4 WD vehicle includes a 42V alternator 2 driven by an engine 1 to generate 3-phase AC power of a first rated voltage, a step-up/step-down inverter 3 for stepping down the power of the first rated voltage generated from the 42V alternator 2 to a power of a second rated voltage lower than the first rated voltage and converting the power of the first rated voltage to a dc power, and a 14V battery E1 for supplying the power of the second rated voltage obtained by the step-up/step-down inverter 3. A motor M1 for driving a rear wheel of the vehicle is supplied with the power of the first rated voltage converted to the dc voltage obtained by the step-up/step-down inverter 3.
