SOLUTION: This radiation thermometer is equipped with an infrared sensor for outputting a sensor output signal corresponding to the amount of infrared rays radiated from a measuring object, a temperature sensor for outputting a sensor temperature signal corresponding to the temperature of the infrared sensor itself, an amplifier including an inverting input terminal and a non-inverting input terminal for amplifying the output signal, an input switch part for connecting the output signal to either the inverting input terminal or the non-inverting input terminal, and a control part for calculating the temperature of the measuring object based on the output signal amplified by the amplifier and the temperature signal. The control part calculates the temperature of the measuring object based on a difference signal between an output signal inputted into the inverting input terminal for amplification and an output signal inputted into the non-inverting input terminal for amplification.
