FAN CONTROL FOR OPERATING FAN BY USING A PLURALITY OF CHARACTERISTIC CURVES AND CONTROL PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING OUTPUT OF FAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a fan by using a plurality of characteristic curves and a control program for controlling the output of the fan. SOLUTION: In the control of the fan, the output of the fan is determined by using the characteristic curves of the fan motor, operating parameters of a cooling system, and reference input variables pre-determined in the form of temperature levels. Various temperature levels to be set comprise the characteristic curves differently related to each other for operating the fan motor. When the reference input variables for a control device vary, the characteristic curves for operating the fan motor are also varied. To prevent the fan motor from generating roar, when the reference input variables for the control device of the fan are varied, the operation of the fan motor is kept constant during the minimum wait time allowed to set. During the minimum wait time, the operating parameters of the cooling system can be properly matched to new reference input variables by the other control mechanism not related to the fan to such a degree that any measure against roar from the fan motor need not be taken.
