Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance for an object to be cooked by preventing an outer surface of a cooking apparatus from forming dew condensation and lowering cooling temperature of a cooking chamber, about the cooking apparatus for thawing and cooking by high frequency heating while refrigerating food material. SOLUTION: This cooking apparatus is structured so that the cooking chamber 28 of which periphery is made from metal equipped with a refrigerating chamber 22 and a space part 42 is provided in the refrigerating chamber 22 and the temperature in the space part 42 is set higher than that of the cooking chamber 28. Thus, the temperature of the cooking chamber 28 can be set to be at relatively low freezing temperature while preventing dew condensation on outside of the refrigerating chamber 22, the cooling performance for the object 74 to be cooked can be increased and high quality thawing free from thawing unevenness can be realized.
