METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROVIDING INFLATION TYPE CUSHION USED IN VEHICLE DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for providing an inflation type cushion used in a vehicle door. SOLUTION: This airbag device is provided with the inflation type cushion having a predetermined shape constructed to have a periphery part larger than that of a door window upon inflation of the inflation type cushion, a backing plate installing the inflation type cushion at a desired position and providing a part of reaction surface upon inflation of the inflation type cushion, an inflator providing inflation output to the inflation type cushion, and a conduit providing fluid communication between the inflator and the inflation type cushion and including a diffuser part arranged in the inflation type cushion and including a plurality of diffuser openings for receiving inflation output in the inflation type cushion in the diffuser part and making a part of the inflation type cushion and periphery part of a window opening overlap by inflation of the inflation type cushion by the inflator to provide a retention cover on a window.
