SOLUTION: The vehicular remote control type transmission is provided with a transmission body 1, which is provided with a synchronizing mechanism and speed change gears for selectively achieving any one of a plurality of the speed change stages, a gear shift unit 2 for switching the engagement state of the speed change gears, a change lever unit 3, which is operated by a driver for the speed change, and a control unit 4 which controls the gear shift unit 2 on the basis of an electric signal corresponding to the speed changing operation to the change lever unit 3. The gear shift unit 2 is provided with a fluid pressure type select actuator and a shift actuator. The control unit 3 controls the operation of the select actuator and the shift actuator on the basis of the electric signal. Particularly, the control unit 3 is so constituted that the gear engagement action speed is reduced in the middle of during the synchronization of the synchronizing mechanism in the gear engagement action of the shift actuator.
