Also, the C/C base material 1 is manufactured by including processes: (1) a base material 1a consisting of the C/C composite material is formed, (2) a surface layer 1b consisting of any C/C composite material of the UD, the felt, the paper or the cloth using the yarn of the number of filaments of ≤1000 so as to cover the surface of the base material 1a, so that a molding body constituted of the laminated body of the C/C composite material is manufactured and (3) the molding body is thermally treated at temperature within the range of 1,700°C-2,200°C and is graphitized.
