Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of restoring a gas leak part of a fuel cell and a pinhole part of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell. SOLUTION: A curing agent (a restoring agent) is brought into contact with an outer surface of the fuel cell, gas containing the restoring agent (the curing agent) is supplied to a gas passage of at least one side, and the restoring agent is fixed to the gas leak part or its vicinity. Gas containing the restoring agent is supplied to at least one side of the gas passage of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell, and the restoring agent is fixed to the pinhole part or its vicinity of the electrolyte membrane.
