SOLUTION: A focus curve relating to the varying state of the correction amount according to the position on a drum 1 is preliminarily acquired by measuring with a distance sensor 38, and the positions of recording heads 22, 23 are corrected on the basis of the focus curve. In particular, the variance ΔP of the gap distance caused by environmental changes is acquired during recording, and the position of the recording head is corrected by considering the variance ΔP. The variance ΔP is obtained by comparing the proper value preliminarily acquired relating to the traveling unit having the distance sensor with the measured value obtained during recording.
