SOLUTION: The car washer is equipped with the shield means 9, 10a, 10b shielding the clearance between the automobile A and the car washer body 1 so that the water droplet from a cleaning part S does not reach a drying part D between a cleaning part S and the drying part D. The shield means 9, 10a, 10b consists of a shutter body 9 shielding the upper space of the automobile A from the upper part of the car washer body 1, and open/close plates 10a, 10b shielding the side space of the automobile A from the side part of the car washer body 1.
