PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and precisely obtain a desired minute ice quantity, when it does not satisfy the minute ice quantity made from a total storing quantity of an ice processing part up to the desired minute ice quantity. SOLUTION: This vending machine supplies square ice to a vessel 81a of the ice-processing part 81 (T1). A square ice quantity supplied in T1 is a total ice storing quantity, capable of being stored to the vessel 81a. Next, the minute ice is successively made from the square ice supplied to the vessel 81a (T2). In T2, square ice is not supplied. Next, the square ice is supplied to the vessel 81a, before the square ice stored in the vessel 81a disappears (T3). The square ice cube quantity supplied in T1+T3 is the amount necessary for obtaining the desired minute ice quantity, and after T3, a motor 81d is driven, until the desired minute ice quantity is obtained. Until the total square ice quantity supplied to the vessel 81a reaches the square ice quantity for obtaining the desired minute ice quantity, square ice is supplied, up to the total ice storing quantity which can be stored in the vessel 81a.
