description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling board support, capable of simply and surely fixing a thermal expansion material even in the case of using a ceiling board support for a non-fireproof section not requiring the thermal expansion material, and automatically stopping ventilation in case of a fire or the like. SOLUTION: This ceiling board support 10 is composed of a support body 11 and a plate body 30 holding the thermal expansion material 40. The support body 11 includes: ventilation slits 26, 26... of a lower surface part and ventilation slits 21, 21 ... of an upper surface part 20, thereby forming a ventilation passage 29. The ceiling board support 10 can support the ceiling board to be ventilated by the ventilation passage 29. On the contrary, the plate body 30 is inserted to be brought into sliding contact with an erected part 12. When hot air passes through the ventilation passage 29, the thermal expansion material 40 held on the plate body 30 is expanded as indicated by a broken line. Thus, the ventilation passage 29 is blocked and the ceiling board support 10 automatically stops ventilation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
