SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the intake device is composed of a holding part forming process, a temporary fixing process, and a joining process. The intake device for surely covering the opening with the porous member can be manufactured by joining the holding part and the porous member by the joining process by holding the porous member in the holding part in the temporary fixing process. The intake device manufactured by this manufacturing method can surely reduce intake noise by surely covering the opening with the porous member since a peripheral edge part of the porous member is doubly sealed by the holding part being the outer edge of the opening.
