Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a capacitor in which leakage of insulating oil impregnated into a capacitor element can be prevented. SOLUTION: A capacitor element 3 formed by winding a metallized plastic film where an electrode film is applied to the surface of a dielectric film is inserted into an encapsulating case 2 having a through hole 8 in the bottom from the opening thereof and then the opening is sealed. The encapsulating case is immersed into insulating oil 7 in vacuum so that the insulating oil is sucked through the through hole. Subsequently, excess insulating oil in the encapsulating case is removed from the through hole and then the through hole is closed by thermal bonding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
