description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve device manufacturing method in which a housing is easily machined, and a gap formed between a fixed core and a movable core is ensured. SOLUTION: A housing 12 is formed of a magnetic material, and has a disk part 13 and a leg part 16. A circular insertion hole 15 is formed in a center part of the disk part 13. A fixed core 20 has a small diameter part 21, a large diameter part 22 and a small diameter part 23 in this order from one end side in the axial direction exposed from the insertion hole 15 of the housing 12. The small diameter part 21 has a recessed part 24 which is formed in a conical shape on one end face side in the axial direction. A portion in a vicinity of an opening of the recessed part 24 is deformed by inserting the fixed core 20 in the insertion hole 15, and pressing a tapered surface of the recessed part 24 by a conical tapered surface 104 of a punch 100 at the position with the axis 102 of the punch 100 being off-centered from the axis 106 of the recessed part 24. The small diameter part 21 caulks and fixes the housing 12 around the insertion hole 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
