description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphopantothenic acid-transferring enzyme gene of Aspergillus oryzae to freely control the production of a secondary metabolite including ferrichrome of the Aspergillus oryzae; to provide a recombinant vector containing the gene, and a transformant containing the recombinant vector; and to provide a non-ribosome type peptide produced by the transformant, and an arbitrary non-ribosome type peptide by using the strain obtained by introducing the recombinant vector to a strain highly expressing an arbitrary NRPS and PKS. SOLUTION: The base sequence of the phosphopantothenic acid-transferring enzyme gene (npgO gene) of Aspergillus oryzae is determined by cloning the gene. The npgO gene is highly expressed with a non-ribosome type peptide synthetase (NRPS) gene (e.g. a peptide synthetase gene asb2 or asb4) to carry out enhanced production of the non-ribosome type peptide (e.g. the ferrichrome of the Aspergillus oryzae) which can not be obtained by singly using the asb2 or the asb4.
