The heating and drying of garbage are started when the deodorizer 22 reaches the prescribed temperature by the deodorizer heating means 23, and the temperature of the deodorizer 22 is held as prescribed by using the deodorizer heating means 23 until the fact that the cover is opened is detected by the cover opening detection part 24.
