description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive brush and its manufacturing method for suppressing fall of pile threads while simplifying a manufacture. SOLUTION: A conductive brush 20 is provided with a band-like substrate 21 and a plurality of pile threads 22 planted on the substrate 21. The same kind of synthetic resin is used for the materials of the substrate 21 and the pile threads 22, and the pile threads 22 are adhered on the substrate 21 by using ultrasonic waves. Besides, the materials of the substrate 21 and the pile threads 22 contain conductive materials, and consequently the substrate 21 and the pile threads 22 exhibit conductivity. The conductive brush 20 is manufactured by winding the pile threads on a front surface of a rotating endless band, bringing a pair of substrates in contact with the wound pile threads from both sides, cutting the pile threads on the endless band after adhesion and isolating the pile threads from the endless band.
