TOOL FOR STRETCHING OUT CIRCULAR RING WITH ENDS FOR PRESSURE-FITTING RUBBER RING TO SIDE FACE HOLE OF MANHOLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for stretching out a circular ring with ends, convenient to carry and easy to operate. SOLUTION: In this tool for stretching out the circular ring with ends for pressure-fitting a rubber ring to the side face hole of the manhole, a semicircular cutout part is provided at the tip of a main cylinder with turning rods mounted to the base end side, and one push rod is mounted projecting from the peripheral surface adjacent to the semicircular cutout part. A round shaft is insert-fitted in a nonrotating manner into the main cylinder, and the other push rod is mounted projecting from the part, facing the semicircular cutout part, of the round shaft. Both push rods are fitted and fastened to two fastening parts between which the lap ends of the circular ring with the ends is placed, and the turning rods are rotated counterclockwise to rotate the main cylinder. The lap ends of the circular ring with the ends are thereby stretched out to pressure-fit the inside rubber ring to the side face hole of the manhole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
