Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To non-destructively detect corrosion in a metal plate integrated on a concrete surface or in a reinforcement metal member arranged in a concrete. SOLUTION: This method/device is provided with a low-frequency probe 4 for transmitting a low-frequency ultrasonic wave from a surface side of a bottom steel plate 1 as a metal plate to an inner face side thereof to receive reflected wave thereof, a high-frequency probe 5 for transmitting a high-frequency ultrasonic wave from the surface side of the bottom steel plate 1 to the inner face side thereof to receive reflected wave thereof, and waveform analyzer 6 for detecting the presence of a corrosion product and a void, based on a waveform of the reflected wave received by the low-frequency probe 4, and for detecting plate thickness reduction in the bottom steel plate 1, based on a waveform of the reflected wave received by the high-frequency probe 5.
