A control section 208 reproduces and displays the frame image at an ordinary speed and leaves a newest consecutive frame image and older discontinuous frame images as its control. Further, in the case of the rewinding reproduction, the control section 208 controls execution of operations for applying rewinding reproduction display to the newest consecutive frame image and operations of acquiring video data consecutive to one of the discontinuous frame images in parallel in order to realize the rewinding reproduction of the consecutive frame image.
