Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder having an increased operation frequency, and thereby, to achieve a high weaving speed. SOLUTION: The apparatus for selecting and feeding wefts for a weaving machine is provided, wherein the weaving machine has rod-like yarn feeders guided in the longitudinal direction of the weft, allocated to at least one weft and movable between a rest position and a feed position through an eccentric driver and a proprietary driving motor, the driving motor is connected with a control device and the control device has a means for stopping the driving motor at an intermediate position between the rest position and the feed position.
