REINFORCEMENT CONNECTOR FOR STEEL PIPE PILES, AND METHOD OF JOINING REINFORCEMENT TO STEEL PIPE PILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the welding time, and to prevent the generation of welding failure by eliminating welding at a corner part. SOLUTION: This reinforcement connector A for steel pipe piles, which is provided in the peripheral surface of a head part of a steel pipe pile 4 to connect a reinforcement 10 used for joining the steel pipe pile 4 to a concrete material such as a foundation concrete in the standing condition, is provided with a cylindrical fitting 1 , which has a hollow part 1b and to which the reinforcement 10 is to be connected through the hollow part 1b, and a backing steel plate 2, of which one surface is to be joined to the peripheral surface of the fitting 1 along the longitudinal direction and of which the other surface is joined to the peripheral surface of the head part of the steel pipe pile 4.
