Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze consumers' impressions of prices by deriving a variety of curves based on answers to a questionnaire. SOLUTION: Each subject is urged to input the answers including a price below which he or she will doubt quality, a price below which he or she starts to feel inexpensive, a price above which he or she starts to feel expensive, and a price beyond which he or she does not want to buy. Based on the answers collected, each subject is presented with a price which seems so inexpensive that they start to doubt quality, a price below which they start to feel inexpensive, a price midway between the price below which they start to feel cheap and the price above which they start to feel inexpensive, and the price above which they start to feel expensive; each subject is then urged to input the degrees of purchase intention at each price. The degrees of purchase intention are represented by a plurality of choices to the level of purchase intention, with each choice having a weighting related to the probability of purchase. Based on the degrees of purchase intention obtained, each subject's probability of purchase is derived. The probabilities of purchase by the subjects are added up to obtain a purchase probability curve. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
