SOLUTION: An incision 11 is formed on one of first and second packaging paper bodies 1a and 1b, and at the same time, an insertion piece 12 which can be inserted in the incision 11 is formed on the other. By inserting the insertion piece 12 in the incision 11 under a state wherein respective packaging paper bodies 1a and 1b are doubly folded and closed through valley-folding lines a into a valley shape, the packaged state can be held. In the package for the bar-shape article constituted in such a manner, when respective packaging paper bodies are developed in one surface state by opening motions of the first and second packaging paper bodies 1a and 1b, on the packaging paper body 1b being confronted with the packaging paper body 1a, on which a holding part 3 and a fixing part 7 for hold-fixing the bar-shape article are formed, through the valley-folding lines a into the valley shape, a display part 13 on which specified items are indicated is provided.
