NEST BUILDING BOX FOR SMALL ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nest building box for pet small animals such as a hamster, capable of observing the interior of a nest at any time without applying a great stress to the pet small animals, simply cleanable and having a plurality of rooms so as to perform nest building activities closer to the nature, and to provide an apparatus for rearing the small animals. SOLUTION: This nest building box comprises a transparent top plate and a shadowing plate as a means for observing the interior of the nest from the upper side without applying the great stress to the pet small animals such as the hamster. Furthermore, a structure for readily mounting and demounting an upper structure so as to easily clean the interior of the nest is provided. The nest building box and the apparatus for rearing having the plurality of rooms are provided so as to bring the environment closer to the underground living even in a small extent.
