description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded material for a concrete slab effectively discharging water stagnated in a hollow section, at the same time, preventing the incursion of concrete into the hollow sections in the case of placing the concrete and facilitating the cutting of embedded material for the concrete slab in a required size. SOLUTION: The square-like hollow section 5 is formed by respectively providing a width parting wall 3 and a length parting wall 4 in the width direction and in the length direction in an outer circumferential wall 2. A width slit 6 and a length slit 7 are respectively provided to the width parting wall 3 and the length parting wall 4 so as to pass through the outer circumferential wall 2 and, at the same time, those width slit 6 and length slit 7 cross at the the central part of the embedded material 1 to be communicated with each other. A plurality of hollow sections 5 are formed in the width direction of the embedded material 1, an outside hollow section 5A and an inside hollow section 5B are communicated with each other with a recessed channel 8A, and the inside hollow section 5B is communicated with the length sit 7 and the recessed channel 8A. A plurality of hollow sections 5 are so formed that the hollow sections are not directly communicated with each other even in the length direction by making the width parting wall 3 as the boundary.
