Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably reduce the ratio of a fuel gas which is compressed under a high pressure and injected into a pre-combustion chamber in comparison with that of the present technical level. SOLUTION: A pre-combustion chamber 4 separated from a main combustion chamber 7 is connected to the main combustion chamber by at least one opening part 6. The main combustion chamber is connected to a low-pressure fuel gas pipe, and the pre-combustion chamber is connected to a high-pressure fuel gas pipe. The fuel gas is blown into the main combustion chamber from the pre-combustion chamber in order to ignite a gas mixture consisting of a compressed fuel and compressed air. The pre-combustion chamber is formed in an insertion appliance 1 fitted to a cylinder head 5, a nozzle 10 connected to the high-pressure fuel gas pipe is disposed in the insertion appliance, and the fuel gas is injected into the pre-combustion chamber through the nozzle.
